Crazy Iowa weather
You’ve heard the old saying (from just about everywhere I think), if you don’t like the weather just wait a minute and it is most likely to change.
In the last 4 days we have gone from highs in the 70′s (good short sleeve shirt wearing weather) to thunderstorms and hail and an F3 tornado going by within 5 miles of our house (See post on Too Close to Home) to today where we have dropped to 28 degrees with about an inch of snow on the ground and the forecast is for a few more during the night.
Such crazy weather. But the old adage often doesn’t work the way you want it to in the beginning of winter in Iowa.
As a pastor, people often ask me if I can do anything about the weather. I say that I’m sorry, I can’t. When it comes to the works of the God of Creationg, I’m not in production, I’m in sales.
